Lon Olson

In loving memory of Lon Olson, who was born on June 3, 1946, and was the cherished son of the late Burton Olson and Marjorie Olson. Lon passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and humor that touched the hearts of all who knew him.

Lon was the devoted husband of the late Cathy Olson and a dear father of Ryan Olson, Jeremy Olson, and Tracy Coshenet. He was the proud grandfather of Colton, Riley, Abby, Kennedy, Jake, and Gabe. Lon is also survived by his dear sister, Christine, while his beloved siblings, Douglas and Lorraine, preceded him in death. Lon will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his family, and his memory will live on through stories filled with love and laughter.

Lon had a wide range of interests that reflected his adventurous spirit and inquisitive mind. He enjoyed geocaching, camping, and hiking, always eager to explore the great outdoors. He cherished the freedom found in riding his motorcycle as his joy for the open road gave him a sense of adventure. His passion for reading and his love for baseball were evident to everyone who knew him. He was especially talented in mathematics, often engaging in the thrill of solving complex problems and sharing insights with others.

In this time of reflection, we remember not just the loss of a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, but also the countless moments of joy and laughter he gifted us all. Lon Olson will forever remain in our hearts, and his spirit will continue to inspire us. May he rest in peace.
