Roy Raymond Beck

In loving memory of Roy Beck, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, who will be deeply missed. Roy peacefully passed on January 30, 2026, at the age of 77, surrounded by his cherished family. Born on April 2, 1948, in Cincinnati, OH, he was the treasured son of the late Raymond Beck and late Virginia Friedhof-Beck-Fassnacht. Roy's unwavering love, kindness, and delightful sense of humor will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Roy shared a remarkable 55 years of marriage with his devoted wife, Theodora "Teddie" Beck. Together, they built a nurturing and loving home for their children: Kevin Beck, Daniel (Candice) Beck, and Karen (Jason) Manter. He took great pride in being a grandfather to Danielle (Skie) Abney, Joshua (Bryan) Boone, Addyson Beck, Olivia Fleming, Elijah Fleming, Anna Fleming, and Ella Fleming. He will also be fondly remembered as a great-grandfather to Delilah Hamblin, Maisy Abney, Lincoln Abney, Olivia Abney, and Hudson Abney. Roy is survived by his loving siblings, JoAnn Bouldin, John (Debby) Beck, Mary Lou (Greg) Pierson, Barbara (Tim) Lacey, Carole (Tim) Schwartz, and Tom (Jennifer) Beck, as well as his caring uncle, Joe (Jerry Englert) Friedhof. Roy will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his family, and his memory will live on through stories filled with love and laughter.

A proud graduate of Archbishop Moeller High School and the University of Cincinnati, Roy devoted many years to a successful career in sales at Sears and later as a self-employed vendor of tools. His passion for music was evident as he played guitar throughout his life, lending his talents to many weddings, including his own. Roy's commitment to community was unwavering, as he actively participated in the Southern Ohio Dog and Game Association to support wildlife conservation. His spirit of giving and his enjoyment of life will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.

In honor of Roy's remarkable life, friends and family are invited to gather for a visitation at Corpus Christi Church, located at 2014 Springdale Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231, on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 10:00 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.
