Lonnie Kohn

Beloved wife and mother Lonnie (Santana) Kohn passed away peacefully Jan. 11, 2026, at the age of 63. Born in Sacramento on June 6, 1962. Lonnie lived a life marked by quiet kindness, thoughtfulness and deep devotion to her family. She had a gentle spirit and a most generous heart, always putting others before herself and showing her love through small, meaningful acts that never went unnoticed.



She married her loving and devoted husband, Robert, on May 19, 2007, bringing grace and calm wherever they went. Her appreciation for even the simplest gestures made everyone around her feel valued and loved.



Lonnie enjoyed cooking and was an avid reader. But her greatest enjoyment was going to Disneyland and collecting Disney souvenirs. She was also a passionate participant in her tribe, the Ione Band of Miwok Indians. Her quiet strength, compassion and sincerity will be remembered by all who knew her.



She is survived by her husband, Robert; her daughter, Ionee; her siblings, Jeanie, Mary and David; and grandchildren, Isabella, Lilyana, Mariana and James.



The Rosary will be recited on March 11 at 6 p.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery and Funeral Center, 6509 Fruitridge Road. A funeral mass will be March 12 at the same site at 1 p.m. A potluck reception follows.
