Lonnie G. Narramore

Church service for Lonnie G. Narramore, age 79, of Sudan, Texas, is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 4, 2023 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Pep, Texas with Father Robert Williams of Pep officiating. Rosary will be said at 6:00 PM, Friday, February 3, 2023 at Ellis Funeral Home in Sudan. Burial will be in Pep Cemetery. Lonnie died Monday, January 30, 2023 in Lubbock, Texas. He was born June 24, 1943 in Graham, Texas to B.A. and Venice (Cooper) Narramore. He married Teresita Martinez in Littlefield, Texas on March 3, 1973.
Lonnie worked as a sheriff's deputy in Hale County, and ended his law enforcement career in Lamb County. He then began working for SPS until he retired after 21 years with the company. Lonnie was a Scout leader in Sudan, and enjoyed arrowhead hunting with his kids when they were young. He loved to bake and barbeque. Lonnie was a member of the St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Pep, and was proud to be a Catholic. He was a 4th degree Knights of Columbus, and loved his faith. Lonnie enjoyed being around people. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Lonnie is survived by his wife, Teresita; his son, Gabriel Narramore of Sudan, Texas; his daughter, Miranda Thorn and her husband, Gregory of Sudan, Texas; and his three granddaughters, Kristina Thorn, Elora Thorn and Angelina Thorn.
