Lonnie Lee Roth, age 85, of Oak Orchard, DE, formerly of Norristown, PA, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, September 14, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on July 27, 1940, in Lincoln, Nebraska, but later moved to Corry, PA at a young age. He continued lifelong friendships from his school years. Lonnie was the son of the late Ervin Roth and the late Esther (Hershberger) Roth. He proudly served his country and community in the Army National Guard.

Lonnie built a long and successful career in the trucking industry. A proud Teamster and a member of the prestigious Million Mile Club, he was deeply respected by his peers for his dedication and professionalism.

Known for his warm personality and gift of conversation, Lonnie never missed an opportunity to connect with people and learn their stories. In his free time, he enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a diehard fan of both the Philadelphia Eagles and Flyers.

Lonnie will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his deep love for his family, and his ability to make everyone feel like a friend.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Roth; a sister, Marlene Sorenson and a grandson, Zachary Fanning. Lonnie is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Jane (Kandler) Roth; four children, Brenda Levis and her husband, Kenny, Brian Roth and his wife, May, Sharon Fanning and her husband, Price and Gwen Smith and her husband, Jeff; six grandchildren, Cody Levis, Griffin Roth, Alec Roth, Kaitlin Laplante, Parker Karpin, Marlow Karpin; two brothers, David and Norman Roth and several nieces and nephews.
