He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Sandra Schmidt; daughters, Deborah Mitchell (Craig) and Laurie Huston (Steve); grandchildren, Graham Mitchell (Nicole) and Andrew Mitchell (Aubrey), Zachary Huston (Venessa) and Alex Huston (Olivia); three great grandchildren, Colby Huston, Dean Mitchell and Zane Huston; and a host of other dear family and friends.
A memorial service will be held April 12, 2025 at 11 a.m, Davidson Memorial United Methodist Church, 249 South Buckman Street, Shepherdsville, Ky. Inurnment will be in Hebron Cemetery. Cremation was chosen. Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd). is in charge of arrangements. Expression of sympathy may be made to Hosparus of Louisville or St Jude Childrens Research Hospital.

Lonnie, Dale and I sure will miss you being our next door neighbor for many years. Always enjoyed your friendship. Thanks for all those delicious tomatoes u grew in your garden. You and Sandy were the best.
