Private family graveside services will be held at the Cassville Cemetery in Cassville, Wisconsin.
Lonnie was born on April 9, 1940, in Cassville, WI, the son of Clifford and Agnes (Brinkman) Shaben. On July 31, 1984, he married Helen Walker in Lancaster, WI.
Lonnie graduated from Cassville High School in 1958. He worked for John Deere Dubuque Works until his retirement after 35 years.
Lonnie loved the great outdoors. He spent any free time either hunting or fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Shaben of Dubuque; three children, Lori (Tom) Tracy of Cassville, WI, Sheri (Paul) Leibfried of Lancaster, WI, and Rich (Christine) Shaben of Portage, WI; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Gloria Hudson and Judy (Dennis) Laufenberg both of Cassville, WI; and brother-in-law, John Schnorrenberg.
Besides his parents, Lonnie was preceded in death by seven siblings, Jean (Vincent) Vondrum, Leroy Shaben, John Shaben, Lea Mae (Lester) Esser, Joanne "Sis" (Gerald) Duncan, Lila (Julius) Hochhausen, and Rose Mary Schnorrenberg, and one brother-in-law, Bob Hudson.
