Lonny Kilde Obituary
Lonny Kilde, 68, of Fergus Falls, died Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at the Minnesota Veteran's Home in Fergus Falls.
Lonny Jay Kilde was born June 14, 1957 to Arvid and Grace "Ilene" (Harstad) Kilde in Fergus Falls. He earned his GED through the Army. He was a member of the United States Army, serving for two years in Germany.
He went to school for electrician, plumbing, and autobody. Lonny worked at BTD Industries in Detroit Lakes. He enjoyed carpentry; his work was very precise. He also loved old 70's rock music.
Preceding him in death were an infant daughter, Stacy, and his parents, Arvid and "Ilene".
Lonny is survived by his children, Joni (Tim) Johnston of Detroit Lakes, Heidi (Jeff) Abrahams of Omaha, NE, Katie (Dustin) Johnson of Bellevue, NE, and Josh (Amy) Kilde of Detroit Lakes; 14 grandchildren; siblings, Debbey (Curt) Johnson of Kensington, Vickey (Mike) Goeden of Underwood, Kristie (Wes) Anderson of Jordan, Jamie (Laura) Petersen of Rosemount, Melanie (Alan) Reinardy of Hastings, and Shawn Steele, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Olson Funeral and Cremation, with a prayer service at 3:00 p.m.
