Alexander, Lora Kay (Warne) (Bogart), 76, was born on October 21, 1947, to Ralph and Nellora (Mullenix) Warne and was the middle of five children. She passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024, following a well fought battle with cancer with her family by her side. She grew up on the south side of Wichita and graduated from Campus High School in 1965. During her lifetime, she held various occupations beginning at a young age at her family's floral business. She also worked at a bank, dental office, the Coleman Company, Kansas Parole Office, Boeing Aircraft and retired from Learjet. After retiring, she returned to work part-time for 7 years as a food service employee with the Valley Center Schools where she truly enjoyed her interactions with both staff and children.

Lora is survived by her daughter Kelly (Dennis) Marten, son Kirk Alexander; grandsons Justin (Julie) Alexander, Benjamin (Macy) Marten, honorary grandson Slade West; granddaughters Emily Alexander, Shelby (Riley) Suther, Paige Alexander, Natalie Alexander; five great-grandchildren with the sixth arriving soon; brothers Bob (Joan) Warne, Rick (Julie) Warne.

Lora is preceded in death by her parents, sister Molly Storey and brother Ron Warne.

A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm on Thursday, April 11, at Broadway Mortuary. A celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, April 12, at The Cozine Life Events Center with burial to follow at Valley Center Memorial Cemetery.
