Lora Lee Berry, 79, of Vienna, passed away January 21, 2026 at WVU Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born February 4, 1946 in Rivesville, WV, a daughter of the late Pauline Durand Shipley and Wayne Paul Tinder.
Lora was a 1964 graduate from Rivesville High School, and then attended the Parkersburg Beauty College where she became a Beautician for over 50 years in the area. Lora was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. She was a devoted mother and “meme” who was always loving and caring, and always put others first.
Her memory will be carried in the hearts of her loved ones, including her husband, Robert Hamilton; daughter, Jennifer Cox (Jacob); two sons, Robert Berry (Dawn) and Cecil Berry (Monica); grandchildren, Chance Cox, Robbie Berry, Caitlyn Berry, Ondreya Berry. Kristin Hoff (Kent), Sophia Berry, and Lilli Martinez; great-grandchildren, Maelynn Hoff, Barrett Hoff, Parker Berry, Remi Murphy, and Lane Murphy; and two brothers, Donald Shipley and Wayne Tinder.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a significant other, Vernon Dale Miller; and two sisters, Betty Lou and Mary Jo.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., South Parkersburg with Pastor Brian Leversee officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Her family will receive friends during visitation from 6 – 8 p.m., Tuesday, January 27 and one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
