Lora Matthews Obituary
Pat is preceded in death by her husband, Russell J. Matthews, Jr, her parents, Theodore & Melva Maydwell, Sr, her brother Theodore Maydwell, Jr, her daughter, Susan L. Seamon, her granddaughter, Ashley Matthews McClaskey and grandson Daniel McClaskey.
Pat loved her family and her animals. Pat contributed to many organizations for the well-being of animals. Pat loved her cats, several of them. Pat's second greatest love was the Eastern Shore home she and her husband built together. Pat loved the beach, crabbing, fishing and the beautiful sunsets they shared together. When not at the shore Pat ran her husband's construction company and several other endeavors.
Surviving Pat are her children, Patti L. Skalinski, Sandy Doyle, Terri Handlir (David) and Russell J. Matthews, III. Also survived by grandchildren, Alysia, Amie, Melissa, Jon-Jon and Stephanie. Also survived by several great grandchildren and numerous friends.
Rest in Peace "Perky". You will be forever missed. A celebration of life for Pat will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Pat's name to the ASPCA
