Ralph Arthur Vander Wagen

Ralph A. Vander Wagen, of Timonium, was ushered to his eternal home on March 29, 2026. Ralph was the faithful husband of his wife Betty Vander Wagen for 59 years who preceded him in death in 2021.

He was a loving father to Gail (Peter) Baity, Glenn (Robin) Vander Wagen, and Laura Nguyen, and the joyful grandfather to his grandchildren: Dawn (Nathaniel), Ryan (Breanna), Lindsay (Trevor), Sarah (Brannoc), Abigail (Carson), John and Lilly. He was also delighted to be a great-grandfather to Eliana, Odin, Gwen, Ivy, May, Elias and Luca. One of three children of parents Sam and Anna, Ralph is survived by his dear sister and brother Ann and Wayne (Bonnie), as well as his nieces and nephews, and many family and friends.

After coming to faith in Jesus Christ in his early 20s, Ralph grew to love His Savior more deeply each year he lived. He looked forward to the day when his faith would become sight, and we rejoice he has finished his race and is now home with his Lord and Savior.
