Lora Zealla Purdy, a beloved nurse, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on July 2, 1952, Lora embraced life with a spirit that was incredibly caring and selfless. Her dedication to helping others was not only evident in her professional career as a nurse but also in her personal life where she touched the hearts of many.
Lora is survived by her loving husband Charles, who stood by her side through all of life's adventures. She is also survived by her sons, Marc Purdy and Brandon (Jennifer) Purdy, along with her eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Lora is remembered fondly by her siblings, Bob Rardin (Karen) and Marlene Bendel, who carry forward her legacy of love and kindness.
She joins her parents, Zea Martin and Laura Rardin, and her sister, Barbara McGaha, in eternal peace. Lora Zealla Purdy will be deeply missed but cherished in the memories of those who knew her and loved her. Her spirit will continue to inspire all of us to lead with our hearts and to serve others selflessly.
