Lorelai Rae Diaz

Lorelai Rae Diaz, daughter of Luis and Jennifer Diaz, sister of Thiago, Mateo, and Rico Diaz passed away wrapped in love on Saturday September 14th. Incredible is the word that describes Lorelai best. Her complex medical issues started her three steps behind, but she worked and fought so that she was always striding alongside her peers. She was a sparkling ray of sunshine that spread joy and positivity to anyone who was lucky enough to be in her world. That joy and positivity remained constant during her battle with leukemia.

As a daughter she was unmatched. She was loving and helpful and taught her parents so much about life and strength. She was the best big sister, reading them bedtime stories and teasing them. Her brothers want to remember her for her love of tacos and Phase 10, the times she would play Candyland with them and the fun they had at Great Wolf Lodge together.

She loved her cats Mama Mila and Squeakaroo and showed them off as if they were her children. She loved her friends and school. She was a girl scout and cherished the memories she made there. She loved being part of the middle school musical and was excited to perform again on stage. She loved Gilmore Girls, Disney, the Sims, Youtube, and Hamilton. She was a little fashionista with an unparalleled sass.

She was a tiny little girl but her spirit was so big. She is loved more than can be imagined and the world has dimmed a little without her in it.

Relatives and friends received Tuesday, September 17, 2024, from 1-3 & 6-8 PM and Wednesday, September 18, 2024 from 2-8 PM at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, 334 Forest Grove Road, Coraopolis (Kennedy Township) PA 15108.
