Robert M. Berg

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert "Bob" M. Berg, 72, of Robinson Township, Pennsylvania, on February 15, 2026.He is survived by his loving wife, Susan (Spisak) Berg; his daughter, Paige (Berg) Brownlee; and his cherished granddaughters, Ella Berg and Skylar Harrell, who brought him endless joy and pride. He is also survived by his mother, Gail Mazeski, stepfather Edward Mazeski and stepmother Ceil Berg, and brother Steven Berg. Bob was preceded in death by his father, Robert B. Berg and his grandson Apollo Harrell. Bob happiest moments were often spent on the road. An avid runner and cyclist, he took immense pride in being a cross-country and track coach, where he shared his passion, patience, and unwavering support with every athlete he mentored. He spent many years at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart working alongside his assistant coaches Gary Carmichael and Andy Shirlow to instill greatness to every athlete both on and off the course.

Relatives and friends received Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, 334 Forest Grove Road, Coraopolis (Kennedy Township), PA 15108. Funeral Prayer Friday, February 20, 2026, at 9:15 AM at the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, St Joseph Church,1304 Fourth Avenue, Coraopolis, PA 15108. Interment in Saint Marks Cemetery, McKees Rocks PA 15136
