Loren Eugene Rose, age 89, of Branson, Missouri, passed away on November 20, 2025. He entered this life on April 26, 1936, the son of Henry and Ethel (Benker) Rose in Webster County, Nebraska. Loren was joined in marriage to Judith "Judy" Ann Struck on April 12, 1986.
Loren dedicated two decades of his life to serving in the United States Air Force. Following his military career, he became a window furnishings installer. Skilled with his hands, Loren enjoyed working on a wide variety of home and garden projects. He was involved with Disabled American Veterans and spent the last twenty-four years supporting his home church of Faith Lutheran Church as a trustee, financial secretary, and handyman. Above all, Loren's devotion to God and his family stood out. Everyone who knew him will treasure the memories and moments he created throughout his life.
Loren is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years, Judy Rose; daughters: Linda Brandhuber and Nancy (Karl) Huther; stepchildren: Jon (Monika) Follman, Julie (Dean) Paschen, Robert (Lisa) Follman, Susan (Dan) Bailey, and Patsy (Todd) Sterns; grandchildren: Stephen Brandbuber, Staci O'Donnell, Cody Huther, Joshua Follman, Natasha Follman, Zoe Follman, Alisia Follman Williams, Daniel Follman, Haley Follman, Matthew Bailey, Candace Bailey, Sierra Sterns, Kyle Sterns, Kolby Paschen, and Jordan Paschen; two great-grandchildren: Ryker Naifeh and Oliver Follman; sister, Virginia Bottlefson; as well as many other extended family members.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Barbara; infant twin daughters; and two grandsons.
There will be a memorial service held at a later date with inurnment at Missouri Veteran's Cemetery. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
