Loren "Sailor" Stevens, born on January 7, 1960, in Topeka, Kansas, passed away on October 6, 2024, in Arlington, Texas. Loren lived life with passion and purpose, whether it was riding his motorcycle, enjoying a fine bourbon or beer, or spending time with his loved ones. A retired member of the Gryphons Motorcycle Club, Loren was known for his deep love of country and family, having served proudly in the U.S. Navy. He was a true patriot, a dedicated member of the NRA, and someone who cherished the freedom to shoot and ride.

Loren was a hardworking man who took over his family's business, Stockyard Trailer Repair Service, a company originally founded by his father. He graduated from North Richland Hills High School and attended the "school of hard knocks," where he learned the value of resilience and a strong work ethic. His mantra in life was "Drive it like you stole it," and his family will always remember his knack for finding the positive in any situation. His laughter, down-to-earth nature, and warm embrace left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Loren was level-headed, stable, and always available to offer sound advice. He had a natural gift for fixing things, whether it was at home or for his business, and his family leaned on him as their rock.

His family, motorcycles, the American flag, and his Navy anchor defined Loren's life. He was a fan of old country music and classic rock, and his legacy will live on in the values and memories he passed down to his loved ones. Loren is survived by his beloved wife, Jaime Stevens; his daughter, Heather Hadaway and her husband, Kenny; his stepchildren, Zach Peace and his wife, Kimmy; and stepson-in-law, Corey Harber. He leaves behind his brothers, Chet Stevens (Best Friend) and Lee Stevens; his sisters, Julie Sarro and husband, Joe, and Joyce Gary and husband, Jack; his mother-in-law, Brenda Gordon; and his grandchild, Addisyn Hadaway and step-grandchildren Karlee, Aven, Blair, Zane, Jett, Avery; and one on the way who will cherish his memory.

Loren was predeceased by his parents, Joe and Fern Stevens; father-in-law, Don Gordon; and stepdaughter, Alexis Harber; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and Gryphon MC brothers.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 28, 2024, at 10 a.m. at God's House in Lone Elm, 150 Lone Elm Rd., Waxahachie, TX. Followed by interment at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the North Texas Patriot Guard (https://northtxpgr.org/donate/) or the Dallas Honor Guard (https://dallashonorguard.com/donate).

Loren will be remembered for his love of life, family, and country. His presence, advice, and unforgettable hugs will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
