She is survived by her immediate family: father, Victor Mar Sr., and mother, Meregilda Mar.; Her older sister, Laura Mar Gonzalez (Adan Gonzalez); Her older brother Victor Mar Jr. (Herminia Mar); Her 3 nieces: Julie Mar, Alydah Gonzalez, and Alayna Gonzalez; Her 5 nephews: Victor Mar III, Isaac Mar, Daran Gonzalez, Naidan Gonzalez, and Andan Gonzalez; The family pets, Richie and Blue. In addition, she is survived by her grandparents, Gualberto and Maria Bennett, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and her DG family.
She will always be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Her radiant smile could light up any room she entered, and her kind heart touched everyone who knew her. She was selfless, always putting others before herself, and her warmth and compassion left a lasting impact on all our lives.
Lorena's life will be celebrated by a memorial service on Friday, August 1st, 2025, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX.
