Growing up across the street from Nan was a joy. I remember playing jax or dressing paper dolls with her grandkids (Eldrina and Maureen) on the front porch, to keep out of the rain. Sometimes we just sat on the swing talking to Nan about school or listening to Judy playing the piano. She watched out for us, encouraged and supported us. And made the best sweet potato pies and sweet popcorn in the universe!
I am grateful she has touched my life!
