Lorene Herald Obituary
Born August 27, 1952 in Scottsburg, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Corbitt and Irene (Deaton) Mclemore.
Lorene worked for Walmart for over 20 years. She loved playing Bingo, gardening, mowing the grass, her flowers, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, A.C. Herald, two sons, Mark (Cheryl) Herald of Austin, Indiana and Greg (Kimberly) Herald of Limo, Ohio, five grandchildren, Kara Herald-Crook, Seth Herald, Mollie Herald-Boose, Corey Stewart, Taylor Stewart, five great-grandchildren, Eleanor, Juliette, Charlotte, Saige, Mila, siblings, Lois Coomer, Lucille Sandlin, Susan Carpenter, Darlene Stacy, Thomas Mclemore, Mack "Snookie" Terry, and Charlene "Chug" West.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Louise Stidham
Funeral Service: 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana with Rev. Randy King officiating.
Visitation will be 11 am to 2 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Spurgeon Cemetery in Austin, Indiana.
