LORENE THOMAS

Lorene Thomas, born on December 9, 1932, in Grand Bayou, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. Her life was a tapestry woven with love, creativity, and devotion to her family and faith.

As a cherished member of her community, Lorene was known for her vibrant personality and her many passions. She had a deep affection for crocheting, an art that she often shared with family members during gatherings. Her creativity also extended to ceramics and sewing, hobbies that allowed her to express herself while bringing joy to those around her. Lorene's love for crafting was matched only by her dedication to studying the Bible, which provided her with spiritual guidance throughout her life.

Lorene leaves behind a legacy of warmth and togetherness. She found immense joy in family gatherings, where her presence brought comfort and happiness to all who knew her. Her ability to bring people together will forever be remembered by those who had the pleasure of sharing time with her.

A Prayer Service to honor Lorene will be held on January 31, 2025, at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Fort Worth, Texas, starting at 6:00 PM, concluding at 7:00 PM. This will be followed by a Funeral Service at Grace Tabernacle MBC, Forest Hill, Texas, on February 1, 2025, beginning at 2:00 PM and ending at 3:00 PM.

Lorene Thomas will be greatly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends who carry her memory forward with love and gratitude.
