Lorene Ware-Hill, 98, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. Born on August 23, 1927, in Florence, Alabama, Lorene lived a life deeply rooted in faith, service, and love for others. From an early age, she devoted her life to Christ, carrying His light into every season and touching countless lives with her kindness, compassion, and generosity. After moving to Saginaw, Michigan, Lorene became a pillar of her community - always ready to lend a hand, offer encouragement, and extend love to those in need. Her life's work was not measured by material wealth or status, but by the joy, comfort, and inspiration she brought to everyone around her. Lorene is survived by her daughters, Beatrice Ware and Margaret Jackson; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 29 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mr. Willie Dean Ware; her daughters, Dean Ware, Jenny Thompson (Oliver Thompson), her beloved son, William Lee Ware, and her beloved daughter Patricia Ware-Davis. Her legacy is one of selflessness, strength, and unwavering faith in God. "Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: 'Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.'" - Proverbs 31:28–29 The family honors her memory with gratitude for her long and beautiful life and takes comfort in knowing she has gone home to be with the Lord. A special thanks is extended to the dedicated staff of Ridgemar Medical Lodge for their compassionate care, kindness, and support during Lorene's final days.
