Lorenzo "Moshoo" Magaña

Lorenzo H. Magaña, 8 yrs old, of Odessa, passed away on September 19, 2025, in The Children's hospital in Dallas Texas.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Bible Baptist church. A Celebration of Life will follow at 5:00 PM with Pastor Patrick House officiating.

Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home West.

Lorenzo "Moshoo" was born in Bakersfield, California at 9:57 PM to Diego and Blanca Magaña on December 03, 2016. Moshoo went to school at Lyndon B, Johnson in Odessa Tx. Lorenzo played football before getting diagnosed with cancer. His first tackle football team was PBYFL WTX Cobras, his second year of tackle football he played with TYFA Odessa Outlaws. His love for football and the way he lit up on the field never went unnoticed, it's how we'll always remember him. Lorenzo's love for Sonic the Hedgehog was endless; he knew every detail from the movies and cartoons and loved sharing them with us.

Moshoo's love for Jesus came so naturally. At random times he would share things about Him, asking if we knew and if we didn't, he was always ready to tell us every detail.

Lorenzo leaves behind his loving mom and dad Blanca & Diego Magaña, sister Abrianna and his doggy, Roxy.
