Loretha Tremble

Loretha Tremble, age 63, a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully in the early hours of October 29, 2025.

She was born October 26, 1962, to the late Billy Turner and Janie Lou Tremble in Statesboro, GA. Loretha was nurtured by her late grandmother, Elise Clifton Tremble, of Statesboro, GA.

Her life was marked by compassion, perseverance, and a fierce dedication to those she loved. She will be remembered for her laughter, generosity, and the countless ways she touched the lives of all who were blessed to know her.

She leaves behind her three beloved children, Ashley Loreal Tremble of Stafford, VA, Lorenzo (Giulia) Lipscomb, Jr., of Goldsboro, NC, and Rosslyn Elise Lipscomb of Alexandria, VA; the father of her children, Lorenzo Lipscomb, Sr., of Alexandria, VA; six grandchildren, all of whom were the center of her life; two brothers, Malik Al-Kush (born Michael Turner) and Ervin Turner both of Savannah, GA; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 11:00am at Third Baptist Church, 917 Princess Street Alexandria, VA 22314. Pastor James V. Jordan, Eulogist.
