Loretta June Tice Colwick, 59, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025.

Loretta was born May 14, 1966, in Groom, Texas to Tilman James Tice and Gladys Mildred Rich Tice. She was a graduate of Panhandle High School. Loretta became a CNA around the age of 14 and worked at St. Anns Nursing Home in Panhandle, then at Palo Duro Nursing Home in Amarillo. She also worked for Heritage Nursing Home in Amarillo. Loretta also worked at Greenhill Villas Nursing Home doing laundry, housekeeping and as a CNA. Her passion was to help others. She loved shopping for her kids, grandkids and great grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Tilman and Gladys Tice; and sister, Barbara Ivy.
Survivors include her children, Julie Ann Head of Daingerfield, Texas, Betty Ann Head and husband Michael Williams of Amarillo, Lonnie Bob Head and wife Elizabeth Garza of Amarillo; ten grandkids; twelve great grandkids; sisters, Linda Whitt of Panhandle, Nora Suttle and husband Dale of Hedley; and extended family.
