Loretta Rollyson Dodson, 67, of Rocky Top, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2025, at UT Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on November 7, 1957, in Flatlick, Kentucky, Loretta was the daughter of the late Thomas and Thelma Jean Rollyson. She was preceded in death by her twin brother Eddie Rollyson, siblings Mackie Rollyson and Lisa Rose Rollyson Bailey.

Loretta was a devoted mother, beloved grandmother, and friend to many. Her warmth, kindness, and generosity touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Loretta had a deep love for animals-especially stray cats, which she often welcomed into her home with open arms and a tender heart.

She is survived by her sons:

Tommy Lawson and wife Amanda of LaFollette,

Joe Chamblee and wife Amy of Dutch Valley,

Sister Pauline and Bryan Brown of Rocky Top, and Brother Johnny Rollyson of Dutch Valley.

Loretta was the proud grandmother of Skyler, Keaton, Kolden, Isaiah, Stormy, Chloe, Kiara, and Millie. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Makala, Azeland, Zariah, Zendaya, Yosiah, Talan, Tillen, Miles, Malia, Casey, Kaidyn, Ella, and Kaia. Extended family members include her daughter-in-law Tammy Dishman of LaFollette.

She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will cherish her memory-especially her dear friend Michele of Rocky Top.

A graveside service will be held at Beechgrove Cemetery on Monday, September 8, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., where Loretta will be laid to rest beside her loved ones.

Loretta's legacy of compassion, generosity, and unconditional love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
