Loretta Gagetta

Loretta "Lynne" (Windhorst) Gagetta, of Irwin, formerly of North Versailles, peacefully passed on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, at the age of 89. Lynne was the beloved wife of the late Raymond "Red" Gagetta. She was the loving mother of Susan Gagetta, Paul (Carleen) Gagetta, Daniel (Diane) Gagetta, and Kathleen Gagetta; adoring grandma of Casey (Emily Pennington) Cathell, Jason and Mark Bajcz, Stephanie (Felix Lee) Cathell, and Maria (fiance Chris Massey) Gagetta; and great-grandmother of Lane Pennington. Lynne was preceded in passing by her parents, Walter and Dorothy (Keating) Windhorst; and siblings, Joan Jackson, Walter Windhorst, and Todd Windhorst. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends. Lynne was a long-time member of St. Robert Bellarmine Church and sang in the choir. She was also a longtime volunteer for the East Allegheny Meals on Wheels. In her free time she enjoyed baking and spending time with her family.
