Loretta Hightower was born on January 21st, 1933.
In La Mesa Texas, she later moved with her family to Alto New Mexico where she met and married her high school sweetheart Stanley C. Hightower a marriage that lasted for over 65 years. Loretta was a loving mother to six children and survived by five (5), George A. Hightower, Earl W. Hightower, William N Hightower, Patricia A. Hightower, and Dan D. Hightower. She was grandmother to George A Hightower Jr., Brandon Martinez, Sophia Hightower, Olivia Hightower, and Nora Hightower and a Great Grand Mother to Ravenn Hightower. Loretta loved arts and crafts and spent many late nights knitting or crocheting goods that she shared with her friends and family. Loretta supported her children and community and fulfilled many rolls including Cub Scout den mother, PTA president, Band Booster Treasurer, multiple community organizations, and Elections station Judge for the El Paso County Elections department. She is preceded in death by her husband Stanley C Hightower and her son John D Hightower.
A visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 PM Friday June 20, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast 4631 El Paso, Tx 79904 with a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM.
