A celebration of life will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at New Light Pentecostal Bible Ministry, 1119 Brooklyn Street, Navassa, NC 28451. A viewing will be held one (1) hour prior to service.
Her love and memories will remain in the hearts of her children, Marquetta Brooks, Aaron Brooks (Dana), Monique Custis (Norman) and Arthur Eubank all of Philadelphia, PA and Natasha Lubben (Chris) of Leland; brother, Marion Joshua, Sr. (Janella) of Charleston, SC, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

I worked with Ms. Loretta Joe at UNCW. She was always a shining light, with her contagious smile. I loved talking with her before going home after work. She was such a sweet person. She will be truly missed.
