Loretta Kinney Obituary
Loretta June Kinney, age 85, of Grayling, MI passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Loretta was born on October 18, 1940 to Wilson and Ila (Baldwin) Cox in Frederic, MI. She loved music, dancing, traveling and cooking. She was a loving mother and grandmother with a heart of gold. She was a strong loving woman who never met a stranger for she always had a kind word and loving smile for everyone she met.
She will be deeply missed by her loving family: sons, Delbert Case, Rodney (Martha Barnum) Case and daughter JoAnn (Martin Jung) Kinney all of Grayling; grandchildren, Joel (Lindsay), Jonathan (Vallen), Jennifer (Chris), and Jessica (Tim); and 10 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husbands James Case and Carson Kinney, brothers Wilson Jr. (Butch) Cox, James (Rick) Cox and sister Florence Case.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 1:00 pm until the beginning of her funeral service at 2:00 pm with her grandson Joel James Case officiating. She will be laid to rest with her husbands in Elmwood Cemetery Grayling Mi on May 4th 2026.
