Deborah Sue Hamlin, age 72, of Grayling, MI passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at her home.
Deborah was born to Charles and Gladys (Cherry) Smith on August 20, 1953 in Highland Park, MI. She could often be found in the kitchen making yummy food or in the garden tending to her plants. Her family misses her dearly and she will be remembered by her children, Naomi (Forrest) Reed and Eric Hamlin; her grandchildren, Emily (Thomas) Otto, Jacob (Ashley Vitale) Kolka, and Grace (Brandon Bush) Reed; her great-grandchildren, Isla, Talula, and one on the way yet to be named; sisters, Alberta (Steve) Bago and Rhonda (Ron) Thomson; and many nieces and nephews that loved their Aunt Debbie dearly.
Deb is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Gladys; her sister, Carolyn Wilske; brother-in-law, Kenneth Wilske; and her niece, Kelly Millikin.
Deborah will be remembered by her family privately during this difficult time.
