Loretta J. Kloida

Loretta Jean Kloida, age 81, of Manitowoc, passed away peacefully at Shady Lane on Monday morning, March 9, 2026, where she resided for two years.

Loretta was born at Holy Family Hospital on September 14, 1944, to the late Dorothy Lucille Hofslund.

Survivors include two children, daughter: Kristine Kloida; son: and Gregory Kloida (Julie Jeske); brother: Alan (Barb) Titus; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Charles (Cynthia) Kloida; nieces, other relatives and friends also survive.

Loretta was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years: Richard Kloida; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Ronald (Truus) Kloida; sister-in-law: Patricia Kloida.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, 628 N. Water Street, Manitowoc, Saturday morning, March 14, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon for family and friends will be held following the service at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, located on the south property of the funeral home. Loretta will be laid to rest at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery next to her husband.

Loretta's family would like to express a special thank you to the staff and nurses of Shady Lane and Sharon S. Richardson Hospice for their compassionate care during her stay there.
