Loretta Farley Marconi

Loretta Farley Marconi, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on January 15, 2026, at the age of 70.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland on April 6, 1955, Loretta was the daughter of the late Pierre Farley and Loretta Farley. She shared 41 loving years of marriage with her devoted husband, Richard Marconi.

Loretta was a cherished mother to Mason Marconi and his wife, Alana, and to Ben Marconi and his fiancée, Mary. She was a proud grandmother to Rhett Marconi. Loretta is also survived by many dear siblings, extended family members, and friends who will miss her deeply.

Loretta had a passion for travel and treasured the memories she made over the years, including trips to Dewey Beach, Eastern Europe, and especially Greece, one of her favorite destinations. Hawaii held a special place in her heart as the location of her honeymoon with Richard.

At home, Loretta found joy tending to her vegetable and flower gardens, nurturing them with the same care she gave to her family. She loved cooking and took pride in preparing homemade Italian dishes, skills she learned from her husband's grandmother. Many evenings were happily spent experimenting in the kitchen or relaxing while watching the Food Network Channel.

Loretta's warmth, love of family, and appreciation for life's simple pleasures will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Family and friends will honor and celebrate Loretta's life at the family-owned Evans Life Celebration Home – 16924 York Road, Monkton MD, 21111 for a visitation on Saturday, January 31st, 2026, from 2-5pm.
