Loretta M. (Dube) Ouellette, 96, of Manchester died July 9, 2024 surrounded by her family.
Born in Rollinsford, NH on June 9, 1928, she was the daughter of Joseph and Rose Anna (Lepage) Dube.
Prior to her retirement, she worked in housekeeping at Southern NH University, the VA Medical Center as a cook and supervisor, Chicopee Mills and White Stag Company, all in Manchester.
Loretta enjoyed the company of family and friends. She was also happy to spend her time cooking, quilting, knitting and watching her great-grandson Gunnar racing motorcycles. She was his #1 fan.
She was predeceased by her husband, Donat P. Ouellette in 2008 and her son, Albert Ouellette in 1996.
Family members include her daughters, Rachel Jodoin of Manchester, Debbie Proulx of WY; her grandchildren, Eric Ouellette and wife Lori of Manchester, David Jodoin and partner Melissa of Manchester, Michelle Jodoin and partner Chris of Epsom; Noelle Salonen and husband Robert of WA; Susan Wendling and husband Nick of WY; her daughter-in-law, Diane Ouellette of Manchester; great-grandchildren; Gunnar, Arora, Robert, Leah and Adam. Along with several nephews, nieces and cousins.
Per her wishes, there will be no public calling hours.
A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 16th at 10 am in St. Peter Church, Auburn, NH. Urn burial will be private in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Rollinsford at a later time.
Donations may be made in her memory to support Mt. Carmel Rehab & Nursing Center, 235 Myrtle St, Manchester, NH 03104.
