Thomas Habermeyer
March 17, 2024
My name is Thomas Habermeyer, I am Loretta's and David Plesics Grandson. Words cannot express how much I love and miss these two wonderful souls that God allowed to touch this earth may they rest in peace and spend the rest of eternity together in paradise. I LOVE YOU GRANDMA AND GRANDPA.
I'll never forget my grandma and grandpa taking me and my older brother to Publix and letting us get any candy we wanted and letting us watch and read any of the books they had. Oh, the times me and my brother would organize all the books from A to Z oh what good times!
I'll never forget the time that me and my grandma got to just sit down and talk about life, our faith, David and my mother.
Loretta would always make me laugh and smile no matter how many times I would see her. Whenever I would knock on the door, she would see me dancing to her doorbell sound and each time she would open the door we would be smiling ear to ear.
I will always remember my grandmothers authentic Love, Faith and Humor. God, I loved her humor so much. The times me and her would be crying laughing over the dumbest stuff.
She would always check in or call me to see how I was doing in school. I know now that she is looking down with David smiling knowing my brother finished college and I am about to also.
I really enjoyed just talking about our faith in God. She always had insights on things I never knew about or even knew existed and So did I. She had the past and present. I had the future.
Reading Books, always makes me think of her and David always.
One of her best stories was just sitting down and helping her with her computer I would always show her new things on there. Or help her find new books or tell her about new medical inventions.
One thing I learned from Loretta was, Be you. Never stop being you. Just be the person God wants you to be. Go as far as you can with the lord. Never stop being you.
I Love you, Lana. I love you and I know I will see you in Heaven.

My name is Tod Florek. I was a student of Mr. David Plesic in Chicago at Washington High School for four years. We became friends again while
Mr. Plesic and Loretta Plesic lived in Miami. I visited David and Loretta Plesic
in Miami many times. May God bless David Plesic, Loretta Plesic, and their children. I am sorry for the loss of your mother.
Sincerely,
