Loretta Rhodes, age 79, passed away Sunday September 14, 2025 at her home in Ramsey, IL.

She was born December 24, 1945 in Danville, IL the daughter of Delbert Wayne Mikel and Myrtle Maxine Mikel (Ritter). She married Ronald Edward Rhodes Sr. on April 25, 1964 in Wilmington, IL. He passed away April 18, 2021. She worked as a house keeper, and she loved bingo, the Cubs, going to garage sales, and sitting outside with Ronald and their beloved dog, Richard. She was also a member of the Moose Lodge and of the Pentecostal Church.

She is survived by her children; Rhonda Vandiver (Keith), Terry Crawford, Amanda Rhodes, and Ronald Rhodes Jr. all of Ramsey, IL, her grandchildren; Ashley Lash (Ray), Joe Crawford (Veronica), Ronald Rhodes III (Violet), Josh Crawford (Rebekka), and Austin Rhodes, 21 great grandchildren, and her siblings; James "Jim" Mikel (Doris) of Braidwood, IL, and Carolyn Frost of Danville, IL.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Ronald Rhodes, her siblings; Wayne, Jack, Jerry, Betty Jean, Nora, and Dora, her father and mother-in-law; Virgil and Virginia Rhodes, her daughter in law; Alvina Rhodes, and several brother and sister in laws.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday September 18, 2025 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in rural Ramsey, IL, officiated by Pastor Joe Lawson. Friends and family may gather from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, one hour prior to the service at the cemetery. Memorials can be made out to the family. Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL, is in charge of arrangements. Online memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.millerfh.net
