Loretta Tester Obituary
Loretta Ann Dunn Tester, 76, of Lexington, passed away peacefully at her home on December 1, 2025.
Born on January 7, 1949, in Montgomery County, Loretta was the daughter of Hagie and Lola Lucas Dunn. She dedicated many years of her life to working in the hosiery mill until her retirement. Loretta had a passion for sewing, cooking, baking, crocheting, and enjoyed shopping in her leisure time.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dennis Tester; her son, Kevin Tester; her brother, Roger Dunn; and her sister, Brenda Presler.
Loretta is survived by her daughter, Lisa Cline of Lexington; sister, Teresa Brady of Eagle Springs; and brothers Garland Dunn (Brenda), Hoyt Dunn, and Tim Dunn (Tammy), all of Star. As well as grandchildren Josh Cline (Lauren) and Laura Ludington (Dallas).
A memorial service honoring Loretta’s life will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at New Hope Baptist Church in Star at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Gene Davis officiating. The family invites friends to gather for visitation prior to the service from 1:00 to 1:45 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Davidson County-200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
