Lori Ann Antunes

Lori Ann Antunes 63, of Murphy passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at her residence. She was a native of Dunedin, Florida and spent most of her life in Pinellas County. Lori spent her career working as an office manager for Tip Top Pool Service which changed ownership several times throughout her career. Upon her retirement the company was Progressive Pool Solutions. The day after retiring, she moved to Murphy, North Carolina in 2021, to the mountains they loved. Lori enjoyed going camping and riding motorcycles. She also had a special place in her heart for animals. Lori enjoyed gardening and was blessed with a green thumb and was an avid collector of Breyer horses.
She was the daughter of the late Stanley and Lillian Romanosky. She was also preceded in death by a sister; Debra Ann Briggs; and one brother, Stanley Romanosky Jr.
Surviving are her husband of 35 years David Wayne Antunes of Murphy; one son, Shawn David Antunes and wife, Sara of Palm Harbor, Florida; four grandchildren, Allison, Elijah, Lexie and Zoey Antunes; one brother, Norman Romanosky and wife, Linda of Palm Coast, Florida; also survived by several nieces; nephews; and her beloved chihuahua, Angel.
A private Celebration of Life will be held in both Florida and Connecticut at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made in memory of Lori Ann Antunes to Valley River Humane Society, P.O. Box 658, Murphy, North Carolina 28906.
