Lori L. Duffel

CANASTOTA- Lori L. Bielby Duffel, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, January 20, 2026, in Upstate University Hospital, Syracuse, with her loving family by her side.

Born in Oneida, on February 6, 1960, she is predeceased by her parents Charles L. and Marlene Campbell Bielby and her young daughter Elisha. A lifelong resident of this area, Lori attended Oneida schools in her youth.

She was of the Lutheran faith and loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed dancing and her music (Aerosmith and Guns'n'Roses). Lori was very joyous with a great sense of humor and "lived on her own terms."

Surviving are her two daughters, Malissa M. (Joshua Lefler) Lightcap of Cleveland and Trisha N. Lightcap of Canastota and her "bonus daughter" Laura Stilwell of Florida; her grandchildren, Haydyn, Hailee, Reanna, Aubree, Paytn, Alexis, Joshua, Jr. and Rexford and a soon to be born great-grandson, Worden Scott; her sister, Kathy (Claude Wolfe) Shaw of Vernon; her brother, Donald (Lori Fura) Bielby of Blossvale; and several nieces, nephews and special cousins.

In keeping with Lori's wishes, there will be no public services or visitation. Interment will be made at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., 300 S. Peterboro Street, Canastota.
