Lori Ann Evans, 51, of Wilburton, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024 at her home.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Jones Harkins Funeral Home, Wilburton, Oklahoma.
Lori was born on January 4, 1973 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Bill B. Evans and Thelma Ann (Davis) Evans. Lori graduated high school Wapanucka, Oklahoma and then attended Cosmetology School. She enjoyed reading her bible, and attending church at the Calvary Baptist Church in Wilburton. Her greatest joy was her son, Hunter.
Lori is survived by her beloved son, Hunter Mills and wife, Kaylin of Clayton and two adoring granddaughters, Oaklynn and Hallie. She is also survived by brothers: Michael Kitchens and wife, Charity of Oklahoma City, and Billy Don Evans and wife, Malissa of Wilburton; half-sister, Rhondi Carlisle of Fairview, West Virginia; aunt, Carolyn Strickland and husband, Walter of Seminole; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family.
She is preceded in death by her mother and stepfather: Thelma (Evans) Cole and Larry Cole; her father, Bill B. Evans; her sister, Cynthia Ann Booth; her aunt, Nancy Henderson; and grandparents: James Davis and Bernice Davis.

Lori was one of the sweetest souls that I have ever known. She was kind to everyone and loved her son with every fiber of her being. She will be greatly missed.
