Lori A. Gerry passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 15, 2026.

She was born on August 25, 1962, to Charles Lee Jr. and Patricia Ann (Pritchett) Myers.

Lori is survived by her loving husband Rodney "Pete", her high school sweetheart who she married on November 1, 1986, she is also survived by one sibling: Mikala Lynn Myers "aka Scott", 2 best friends Dawn Chinavare and Michelle Cornstubble and many cherished friends, & her beloved dog "Biggie Mo".

Lori attended Jackson High School and graduated with the class of 1980, while in high school Lori started working at Jacobsen's Warehouse (currently the site of Dawn Foods), after high school Lori began a career in health care and worked at the Blake Surgery Center, Allegiance Health Hospital (formerly W. A. Foote Hospital, now known as Henry Ford Health Hospital) in the sleep lab and then worked in the Cancer Center doing cancer screening. Lori retired on October 1, 2025.

Lori loved being outside in the sun, boating on Farwell Lake and traveling with her husband Pete to the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean Islands, Key West, Florida, Fripp Island, South Carolina, & recently spent 6 weeks in Port Charlotte, Florida. She was known for her wonderful smile and contagious laughter, many of her friends enjoyed seeing pictures and reading the stories of Lori and Pete's many shenanigans posted on Facebook.
