Lori Ann Hale Ferra, age 59, of Morehouse, formerly of Charleston, died Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis.
Lori was born July 7, 1965, at Charleston, MO, to the late Charles Ralph Davis and Lynda Lou Parker Hale-Davis. Growing up in Charleston, Lori worked for many years at Andy's Video. She had lived in Sikeston the past 28 years where she was employed with Unilever until ill health forced her retirement. Lori had a heart of gold. Always ready to welcome you in her home and being a fabulous cook, she was always ready to share a meal. Lori was always quick to reach out when family and friends need a helping hand. She was loved by all who knew her.
Surviving is her husband, Jorge Ferra of the home, her beloved son and his wife, Brandon P. (Joyce) Hale of Sikeston; her granddaughter, Hannah; her sister, Melody Kaye (Charles) O'Dell of Sikeston; half-sister, Debra Davis of Barlow, KY; her nephews, Aaron (Tracy Branson) Hammer and Brian Austin O'Dell; her niece, Kayla (Brad) Burton all of Sikeston; several beloved great nieces and nephews, as well as a number of beloved Parker, Hale and Davis cousins.
In addition to her father and mother, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Wallace Reed Hale, Jr. and Christopher Carl Hale; her grandmother, Daisy Margaret Johnson Parker and grandparents, Anderson and Goldie Opal Oliver Davis; half brothers, Charles Ralph Davis, Jr., and David Davis,
The family will receive friends at 6:00 p.m. until time for the memorial service at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.
