Our dear mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Lori Hudson, 51, of Woonsocket, passed away unexpectedly at Landmark Medical Center on February 22nd, 2022. Lori was a cherished daughter of the late William L. and Mary D. (Bernard) Hudson and leaves behind her seven devoted children, Frank V. Bonilla of Woonsocket, Dante A. and Nicholas S. Trott, both of Providence, Connor X. Harwood of Woonsocket, Elizabeth M. Bonilla of Pawtucket, and Mellisa Hudson and Samantha Morales, both of Woonsocket. She is also survived by her brother, Henry Hudson of Florida, seven beautiful grandchildren, and many friends and relatives by whom she will be sorely missed.
She was a beautiful and quiet woman who wore her heart on her sleeve; she was kind, generous, and down-to-earth. Lori was a homebody, a loving mother, and a gentle spirit. She loved being a mom and surrounding herself with family. She loved to bake and garden. A perfect day would find her with something delicious baking in the oven, aromas wafting through the house as she gardened with children and grandchildren close by, and a large 'Iced Dunkin' in her hand! In any season/for any reason, she absolutely loved her 'Dunkin Iced'! She also enjoyed watching all the 'doctor shows' on television.
She especially loved the beach, where she would find warmth and comfort in the hot sun. She used to like her weekend get-a-ways but loved getting back home most. One day at a time was her motto and now we will learn to adjust without our dear mother, one day at a time. Rest in Peace, until we meet again.
Services for Lori, to which family and friends are invited to attend will be held Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Berarducci Funeral Home 185 Spring St., Woonsocket. Burial will be private.
