Lori Jean O'Hara, a loving mother, devoted wife, and cherished friend, passed away on June 27, 2025, in Heber City, Utah, at the age of 59. She was born on September 21, 1965, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Keith and Rhea Casper.
Lori's life was filled with joyous moments, and she loved her role as a mother to her beloved daughter, Jessica. Her 32 years of marriage to her husband, Steve O'Hara, on June 27, 1993, marked the beginning of a beautiful partnership. Together, they created a home filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories.
In addition to her family, Lori had a deep passion for Nordic cross country skiing. She served as an instructor at Soldier Hollow for many years.
Lori’s journey, however, was not without its challenges. In recent years, she faced the trials of early onset dementia. Throughout this time, her family remained steadfastly by her side.
Lori is survived by her husband, Steve O'Hara; their daughter, Jessica Marie O'Hara; her mother, Rhea Casper; and her siblings, Keith (Teresa) Casper, Tiffany (Jared) Quilter, and Charles (Milena) Casper.
She was preceded in death by her father, Keith Clark Casper and her sister, Nelly Casper.
A viewing will be held on July 2, 2025, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Heber Valley Funeral Home, located at 288 N Main St., Heber City, UT 84032.
A celebration of Lori's life will occur in the fall on September 20, 2025 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Soldier Hollow Campground -Group Site. Located next Soldier Hollow Nordic Center.
