Lori Schiek Obituary
She was born September 6, 1970 in Red Wing, Minnesota to David and Linda Brown.
At the young age of seven, she moved with her family to Colorado, graduating from Greeley West High School in 1988 and then received a Bachelor of Science-Business Administration and Accounting at the University of Northern Colorado in 1992.
Following college graduation, she moved to California and resided first in Oceanside and then Santa Clarita, working at various accounting positions. Upon returning to Colorado in 2005, she resided in Brighton and worked as an Accounting Manager for Vodafone Americas Inc., which included traveling to England at times to their office in Newbury. In 2015, she became the Chief Financial Officer for School District 27J in Brighton.
Lori enjoyed traveling with her son, including many trips to beach areas. Her son was always her priority.
Lori is survived by her son, Jacob Schiek, her mother, Linda Arnold and her brother, Gregory Brown.
Lori's Life Celebration will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Adamson with a reception to follow. Memorial gifts may be made to "American Heart Association" or "A Woman's Place" in care of Adamson, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634. Condolences may be shared at AdamsonCares.com.
