Lori Scribner Obituary
WEST RUTLAND-Lori Jean Scribner, 66 of West Rutland died unexpectedly Saturday December 14, 2024 at the Rutland Regional Medical Center.
She was born on June 18, 1958 in Bellows Falls the daughter of Lawrence and Sandra Jean (Benware) Bristol Sr.
Lori graduated from the West Rutland High School in 1978 and then O'Brien's School of Cosmetology.
She was employed at West Rutland School, then as a hairdresser for many years in the area, Rutland Area Christian School and for the last 11 years she worked at the Rutland County Parent Child Center.
She was an avid Celtics fan, and enjoyed crafting, cooking and gardening. She loved her cats Nike and Onyx and granddog Ghost.
Survivors include a son Reginald F. Scribner III and girlfriend Makayla Pruschko of Rutland, 2 sisters Holly Chandler and Tami Bristol, a brother Lawrence Bristol Jr., her companion Timothy Matava all of West Rutland, a granddaughter Braelyn Anita Scribner, biological father Wayne Allen of Springfield, several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Reginald F. Scribner Jr on January 8, 1997, her mother Sandra Lebo on February 27, 2015 and her father Lawrence Bristol on December 4, 2005.
Friends may call from 4pm until 6pm on Thursday December 19, 2024 at the Aldous Funeral Home, 44 North Main St, Rutland, VT. Funeral Services will be held 11AM Friday at the Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the West Side Cemetery in Salisbury, VT. A reception will follow.
