Lori Lee (Gibson) Streeter, 64, of Bellefontaine, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, Ohio. She was born in Bellefontaine on March 24, 1960, to the late Verlyn and Judy Gibson, and raised by the late Verlyn and Betty Gibson. She is also preceded in death by her son, Justin Smith and brother-in-law, Michael Bell.
She is survived by her siblings: Kimberly Bell, Darren (Jean) Gibson, and Verlyn (Becky) Gibson; many nieces and nephews, and her dear friend, Pam Lentz.
Lori was a 1978 graduate of Bellefontaine High School and worked as a nursing assistant. She enjoyed board games, going out to eat and watching movies. Some of her favorite times were spent taking trips with her sister. Among the joys of her life, none surpassed her love for her dog, Rascal. Anyone who knew Lori knows she would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. She will be deeply missed.
Pastor Brandon Storm will officiate a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 14, 2025, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. Visitation will be two hours prior from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place in Huntsville Cemetery at a later date.
