Born on March 27, 1972, Lori's life was defined by her deep love for her family, friends and pets. Lori had a boundless capacity for compassion and kindness.

Lori's greatest joy in life was her family. She was a nurturing and supportive mother to her two sons, Dylan Patrick Van Cleave and Trace Michael Van Cleave, and a loving wife to her husband, Michael Patrick Van Cleave. Lori's warmth and caring nature made her a beloved friend to many, always ready to lend a listening ear or a helping hand

She is survived by her husband, Michael Patrick Van Cleave; her sons, Dylan Patrick Van Cleave and Trace Michael Van Cleave in Colorado; her mother, Linda Jo Rayl; her brothers, Chad Michael Rayl of OH, Chris Cox of CA and several nieces/nephews; Jazlyn Marie Rayl, Keurstyn Monroe Rayl and Austin Michael Rayl along many dear friends. Lori was preceded in death by her father James Darby Rayl and brother James Kenneth Rayl.

Lori was in the nursing field for over 30 years. She started her career as an LPN and one of her proudest moments was going back to school and passing boards to obtain her Registered Nurse License. She worked in many areas of nursing and her most recent role was as a District Nurse for Jeffco Public Schools. Lori had a compassion for caregiving, and she cherished each of her patients.

A celebration of Lori's life will be held on August 30, 2024 (10:00am) at Valley View Christian Church 11004 Wildfield Lane Littleton, CO 80125.

Lori's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her memory will be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to have been touched by her life.
