Lorie Cook Obituary
We are celebrating the life of Lorie Alice Lollar Cook. Lorie was born on June 11, 1961 in Oakland, California. Lorie passed away peacefully at home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma surrounded by her loving family on January 31, 2024.
Lorie had a zest for life, living life to the fullest. She had an outgoing personality and would make friends everywhere she went. Anybody who spoke with Lorie could tell how much she loved and how proud she was of her three daughters.
She loved baking cakes for her family and could often be found cooking something good in the kitchen for everyone to try. She loved to sew and make dresses and blankets for her grandchildren. She would have creative ideas and insist her grandchildren model her artistic creations.
Lorie was dedicated to her family and friends, making sure everybody was taken care of. She will be truly missed.
Lorie is preceded in death by her parents, Lavonda and Bobby Lollar, and a brother, Bobby Lollar. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Clifton Cook, three daughters, Jennifer, Ashley and Alyssa, many grandchildren and one great grandchild.
