Lorie is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Emlin Schnathorst Jr; children Cristial Logston, Richard Logston, Cherrie Beth Schnathorst, Emlin Schnathorst III (Chip), and Alex Schnathorst. 6 grandchildren; Mercedes Greim, Lexus Greim, Hunter Schnathorst, Paige Schnathorst, Mikaylah Logston (Juan Jaime Hernandez) and Evan Logston (Alyvia Garcia). 4 great-grandchildren; Lucas Perry, Maddix Logston, Violeta Jaime and Emilio Jaime.
She is survived by siblings, Larry Throckmorton (Lisa Crawford), Brenda Roush (Mark Stephens), Gayla Gilliland (Weston Dailey), Rusty Throckmorton, Raymond Throckmorton, Chasity Cowden and Tiffany Richards. Special aunt, Cherrie (Bishop) Bass. Father and mother-in-law, Emlin Sr. and Dianne Schnathorst, brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Karen Schnathorst, sister-in-law, Nila Schnathorst, and brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Stacey Schnathorst. She also leaves behind many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, Harry Lyle Bishop and Velma Faye Bishop.
Visitation will be held with family present Thursday, September 28th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. at Iles Norwalk Chapel, 1020 Main Street, Norwalk, Iowa. Funeral service will be held Friday, September 29 at 1:30 pm, also at Iles Norwalk Chapel with burial to follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Indianola, IA.
